2012 STREET STOCK RULES
(Any visiting cars that don't comply with NFS track rules will be required to add weight)

1. BODY:
Any 1970 thru 1996 Production sedan, completely stock, except for the following options:
1A. Must have firewall, altered or NON stock firewall (must be in stock location)
Must add 100 lbs to total weight. (Replacement firewall must be of equal or greater thickness of OEM firewall)
1B. Must have stock floor pan to rear of drivers seat.
1C. No floor pan on passengers side add 50 lbs.
1D. May close in drivers compartment, must have 12" X 12" inspection hole in passenger side of deck.
1E. Fenders may be trimmed for tire clearance.
1F. Bodies may be hulled.
1G. Sub frames may be tied together maximum 10 inch overlap at joints.
1H. Trunk must be sealed from drivers compartment.
1I. No lowering of roof or body.
1J. Drivers seat must be close to stock location (no seats at rear wheel).
1K. Spoiler: 6 inch maximum height (if top of spoiler has any bends toward front of car it is included in measurement). Spoiler end pieces 6" high X 12" long May run center support 6" X 12".
1L. 5" minimum frame height.
1M. Rub bar: may run outside door rub bar ¾ inch square or round tube (must be flush against door panel and tapered ends, end must be closed), maximum 3 inches past door seams.
1N. Must have 4 bars in front of driver side of car (front windshield).
1O. May run aftermarket or flat side body, may be steel, aluminum, or fiberglass, must match chassis being used.
1P. Aftermarket nose peace OK, must match year, make and model being used.
1Q. Wheel base: Minimum 101 inches.
1R. Weight: Minimum 3000 lbs. after race with driver. Cars may have to add weight for penalty items.

2. CHASSIS:
Must remain completely stock, except for the following options.
2A. May relocate upper control arms.
2B. May use tubular upper control arms must be same length as stock for make, model and year.
2C. Springs- racing springs OK, Leaf for Leaf, coil for coil, NO mismatching (no composite). NO COIL OVERS OR COIL OVER ELIMINATORS.
2D. Leaf spring cars can run sliders.
2E. Lowering blocks OK.
2F. May run wedge bolts front and rear, 25lb penalty to total weight.
2G. Shocks- steel bodied only, may use split valve, may run outboard shocks, NO adjustable shock of any kind. Non rebuildable shocks only. Hiem ends OK.
2H. Sway bar, may be adjustable, maximum diameter 1 ¼ inch.
2I. All chassis must be metric for metric and full size for full size, (stock type chassis) minimum weight without add on penalties 3000 lbs after race with driver.
2J. Rear trailing arms must be factory stock, may use polyurethane bushings, may box bottom of arm, may slot uppers trailing arm to obtain pinion angle.
2K. Strut cars may run hiem on top of strut ONLY.

3. ENGINE: NO 602 OR 604 CRATE MOTORS.
3A. Chevy 350 + 0.60, Mopar 360 + 0.60, Ford 351 windsor + 0.60 Must be for make, model and year being used.
3B. Engine must sit in stock OEM location. May use aftermarket motor mounts, NO motor plates. May use rear motor mount without cross member.
3C. HEADS: World product 043610, 043600 194/150 valve size, RHS 12402, 12400 194/150 valve size. Old GM double hump fueled heads 194/150, or any open chamber GM heads, NO ALUMINUM, NO VORTEC, NO 2.02, NO ANGLE PLUGS.
3D. Milling of heads OK, no angle milling, NO CC rule, 11/32 valve stem diameter. Stock length for GM, neck down valves OK. No porting, polising or acid dipping.
3E. INTAKE: Any steel or aluminum, dual plane intake, untouched. Must have casting numbers, NO porting, polishing, acid dipping or gasket matching. Screw in studs OK, guide plates OK, poly locks OK, stud girdles OK, oil shields OK.
3F. CAMSHAFT: Flat tappet hydraulic camshaft only. Stock diameter lifters, NO solid lift cams or solid lifters. NO mushroom lifters, NO roller lifters. May use anti pump up lifters.
3G. ROCKER ARMS: Stock stamped steel or roller rockers 1.52 Maximum ratio, NO shaft mounted rockers, except on Mopar.
3H. CRANKSHAFT: Steel or cast 48lb minimum NO tolerance. NO knofe edge, may balance by adding weight NO grinding on crankshaft allowed. No fluid dampers.
3I. RODS: Any stock appearing I-Beam Rod, 5.7 for GM may be floated. Wrist pin must be stock inside and outside diameter. Must not be lighter than stock OEM. No polished rods. NO 6 inch rods. Stock length rods for engine being used.
3J. PISTONS: Flat top 2 or 4 valve relief, cast or forged. Piston must not protrude above cylinder deck surface.
3K. EXHAUST: Headers OK. Over rail OK. MUFFLERS MANDATORY!!!!
3L. IGNITION: Stock OEM distributor. May lock advance, may change module, may change pick up, may use MSD big body or comparable big body OEM style distributor. NO MSD BOXES.
3M. FUEL PUMP: May use after market racing pump (not to exceed 9 lbs fuel pressure), may notch frame for safety.

4. Clutch and flywheel: Steel bell housing MANDATORY, minimum 35lbs for clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. 10.5 inch minimum diameter, may use after market release bearing assembly, must have solid 360 degrees of clutch material, clustch disc may be solid hub center. NO finger clutch disc.

5. CARBURETOR: May use Q-Jet. Removal of choke assembly OK, changing of jets OK.
5A. HOLLEY 4412: May change jets, power valve, NO billet metering blocks, must have air horn unaltered. NO billet parts allowed.
5B. HOLLEY 1850: May change jets, power vlavle. NO billet metering blocks, must have air horns unaltered. May use center hung float bowls. May use jet plate, NO secondary metering block. NO billet parts allowed.
5C. FUEL CELL MANDATORY- MUST PASS TECH.

6. BRAKES: Must have 4 wheel operating brakes. NO right front shut off, may run after market pedal assembly. NO BIAS ADJUSTMENT FROM INSIDE DRIVERS COMPARTMENT. Brake calipers must remain OEM stock steel.

7. RADIATOR: Must be in stock location. May be aluminum.

8. TRANSMISSION: 3 or 4 speed aluminum or steel casting. Must have all gears in transmission. Shift levers on transmission don't have to be hooked up but must be where they can be put in gear to check gears in tech. Auto trans must be completely stock as it came from manufacturer, with full size torque converter.

9. DRIVESHAFT: Must be steel and painted white. NO aluminum, or carbon fiver. Must have drive shaft loop.

10. REAR END: Inter changing of rear ends OK, 9 inch OK. Floater OK., Strut type cars (Camero) must run factory rear torque bar to side of trans and it must not be adjustable. NO J-bars, NO plan hard bars, factory track bar OK in stock location.

11. TIRES AND WHEELS: 8 inch steel wheels only. Bead locks OK. HOOSIER A, D, H and Hoosier E-Mod. HOOSIER ONLY MUST PUNCH MINIMUM 40 ON DUROMETER AFTER RACE AT SCALES.

12. BELTS: NO older than 3 years, otherwise replace them.

13. FIRE EXSTIUISHER: MANDATORY!!!!!!!!! Must be with in drivers reach, secured in mount.

14. DRIVERS SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Fire suit (NO rips or tears). Gloves, shoes, neck brace, window net, helmet (must be SNELL 2000 or better).

15. WEIGHTS: PER NFS.
15A. STOCK CHASSIS 3000LBS after race with driver.
15B. FIREWALL ALTERED, NOT OEM STOCK, MUST ADD 100LBS TO TOTAL WEIGHT.
15C. NO FLOOR BOARD ON PASSENGER SIDE ADD 50LBS TO TOTAL WEIGHT.
15D. WEDGE BOLTS ADD 25 LBS TO TOTAL WEIGHT.
15E. ALL ADD ON WEIGHT PER TRACK MUST BE PAINTED YELLOW.

16. VISUAL PROTEST: Visual protest up to 20 min prior to heat or feature, must be in writing. Protestor must be car owner or driver in that division and only 1 comes to see tech director with protest.
16A. MOTOR PROTEST: Within 15 min after feature, must be in writing. Protestor must be car owner or driver in that division and only 1 comes to tech director with protest. Cost is $350 for heads and top of motor. Protestor can name 1 part he will see, the track will check and inspect all other parts. If found legal protested car will get $300 and track will get $50. If found Illegal the protestor will get $300 back and track will receive $50. Time limit to remove heads 1 hour.
16B. MOTOR PROTEST COMPLETE ENGINE: With in 15 min after feature, must be in writing. Protestor must be car owner or driver in that division and only 1 comes to tech director with protest. Protestor names the 1 part he will get to see, the track will check and inspect all other parts. Cost $500 for complete engine, if found legal protested car will get $425, track will get $75. If found Illegal protestor will get $425 and track gets $75.
16C. If more than one person goes to tech director at same time protest will be NULL/VOID!!!! If the rules of the tech area are not followed by both parties the out come of the protest will be determined by tech man and track promoter. There is only to be driver of the car that is be protested and the driver of the car that is the protester.

17. In the fairness of competition JFS has the right to add weight to any competitor.

18. In the event chassis being used has been damaged in front clip or rear clip. Repairs must be approved by tech director.
