(Any visiting cars that don't comply with NFS track rules will be required to add weight)

RULE BOOK DISCLAIMER

The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND OR REGULATIONS. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or official.

The race director shall be empowered to permit reasonable and appropriate deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that in his/her opinion does not alter the minimum acceptable requirements. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials. Their decision is final.


NORTH FLORIDA SPEEDWAY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADD WEIGHT IN THE FAIRNESS OF COMPETITION.
BODY,
1. ANY 1970 THRU 1995 PRODUCTION SEDAN.
2. MUST HAVE (FULL) FIREWALL EITHER STOCK OR FABRICATED STEEL. IN STOCK LOCATION.
3. MUST HAVE EITHER STOCK OR FABRICATED FLOOR PAN TO REAR OF DRIVERS SEAT.
4. MAY CLOSE IN DRIVERS COMPARTMENT.
5. IF DRIVERS COMPARTMENT IS CLOSED IN IT MUST HAVE A 12 INCH INSPECTION HOLE ON PASSENGER SIDE OF DECK.
6. MY HULL STOCK BODY.
7. TRUNK MUST BE SEALED FROM DRIVERS COMPARTMENT.
8. UNI BODY CARS MAY TIE FRONT AND REAR SUB FRAMES TOGETHER WITH A MAXIMUM OF 6 INCH OVERLAP AT FRONT AND REAR. MAY X BRACE CHASSIS, MAY UNDERSLUG CHASSIS.
9. NO SQUARE TUBING FROM FRONT CLIP TO REAR OF CAR IT MUST RETAIN ORIGINAL OVER THE REAR END FRAME, NO SCABBED IN FRAME PIECES THEY MUST BE PART OF THE WORKING CHASSIS, NO CLIP CHASSIS CARS.
10. WHEEL BASE MINIMUM OF 101 INCHES, THERE WILL BE A 1 INCH TOLERANCE ON THE MAKE AND MODEL CHASSIS YOU ARE USING.
11. BODY MAY BE STEEL OR ALUMINUM, BUT MUST MATCH MAKE MODEL AND YEAR CHASSIS YOU ARE USING.
12. NOSE MUST MATCH MAKE, MODEL, AND YEAR OF CHASSIS BEING USED, MONTE CARLO FOR MONTE CARLO AND CAMARO FOR CAMARO, NO LATE MODEL TYPE NOSE PIECES.
13. MAY USE A 60 INCH WIDE BY 6 INCH HIGH SPOILER.
14. MAY USE SPOILER END PIECES 6 INCH HIGH BY 12 INCHES LONG WITH ONE (1) CENTER SUPPORT.
15. ROOF MUST MATCH MAKE MODEL AND YEAR OF CHASSIS BEING USED.
16. IF USING A FLAT FABRICATED ROOF IT MAY HAVE A 3 INCH RAKE FRONT REAR TO FRONT.
17. MUST HAVE FULL ROLL CAGE CONSTRUCTED OF A MINIMUM OF 0.95 INCH TUBING.
18. ROLL CAGE MUST BE WELDED TO MAIN FRAME.
19. MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF FOUR (4) DRIVERS DOOR BARS.
20. MUST HAVE A MINIMUMOF THREE (3) PASSENGER DOOR BARS.
21. MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF THREE (3) ONE HALF INCH BARS IN FRONT OF DRIVER.
22. MUST HAVE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW NET.
23. MUST HAVE FIRE ESTINGUISHER WITH IN REACH OF DRIVER WITH A MECHANICAL GAUGE.
24. MUST HAVE MASTER ELECTRICAL SHUT OFF SWITCH WITH IN REACH OF DRIVER AND/OR SAFTEY PERSONELL.
25. ALUMINUM RACING SEAT MOUNTED TO ROLL CAGE MANDATORY.
26. 5 POINT RACE HARNESS MANDATORY.
27. FUEL CELL IN STEEL CAN MANDATORY, WITH A MINIMUM OF 2, 2 INCH STRAPS. 8 INCH MINIMUM FROM GROUND TO BOTTOM OF CELL.
28. 3000 POUNDS MINIMUM AFTER RACE WITH DRIVER.
CHASSIS,MUST REMAIN COMPLETELY FACTORY OEM STOCK FOR MAKE MODEL AND YEAR, EXCEPT FOR THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS,
FRONT SUSPENSION,
1. MAY RELOCATE UPPER CONTROL ARMS.
2. UPPER CONTROL ARMS MUST BE SAME LENGTH AS OEM STOCK ARMS FOR YEAR AND CHASSIS BEING USED. MAY USE POLYURETHANE BUSHINGS. STOCK BALL JOINTS NO OFFSET BALL JOINTS OR CROSS SHAFTS.
3. FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS MUST BE IN FACTORY OEM MOUNT LOCATION ON FRAME.
4. FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS MUST BE OEM STOCK AND OEM STOCK LENGTH FOR MAKE AND MODEL CHASSIS BEING USED, MAY USE POLYURETHANE BUSHINGS. NO OFFSET BALL JOINTS.
5. MUST BE STOCK OEM SPINDLES FOR MAKE MODEL AND YEAR.
5 A. STOCK STEERING BOX FOR MAKE MODEL AND YEAR CHASSIS BEING USED.
6. MAY USE STEERING QUICKNER.
7. MAY USE OUT BOARD SHOCKS ON FRONT.
8. MAY USE WEDGE BOLTS AND SPRING BUCKETS.

5. PISTONS ANY 2 OR 4 EYE BROW MUST HAVE FULL SKIRTS NO SHORT SKIRT PISTONS MAY BE FLOATED PINS, PISTON MUST NOT PROTRUDE ABOVE CYLINDER DECK SURFACE.
6. RODS STEEL I BEAM ONLY, CHEVY 5.7 NO 6 INCH RODS, NO H BEAMS. MAY BE FLOATED, AFTERMARKET ROD BOLTS OK.
7. CAMSHAFT MAY USE FLAT TAPPET HYDRUALIC OR SOLID, NO ROLLER CAMS.
