RULE BOOK DISCLAIMER


$25 TRACK LICENSE IS MANDATORY AS OF May 1, 2015

The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND OR REGULATIONS. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or official.

The race director shall be empowered to permit reasonable and appropriate deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that in his/her opinion does not alter the minimum acceptable requirements. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials. Their decision is final.

NO RADIOS, RACE RECEIVERS MANDATORY

NORTH FLORIDA SPEEDWAY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADD WEIGHT IN THE FAIRNESS OF COMPETITION.
ANY VISITING CARS THAT DO NOT MEET NFS RULES NEED TO CONTACT TECH DIRECTOR BEFORE RACING IN THIS DIVISION TO DETERMINE IF IT CAN BE RESOLVED THRU A WEIGHT PENALTY.

BODY.
1. ANY 1970 THRU 1995 PRODUCTION SEDAN.
2. MUST HAVE FULL FIREWALL EITHER STOCK OR FABRICATED STEEL IN STOCK LOCATION.
3. MUST HAVE STOCK OR FABRICATED STEEL FLOOR PAN TO REAR OF DRIVERS SEAT.
4. MAY CLOSE IN DRIVERS COMPARTMENT.
5. MAY HULL STOCK BODY.
6. TRUNK MUST BE SEALED FROM DRIVERS COMPARTMENT.
7. UNI BODY CARS MAY TIE SUB FRAMES TOGETHER WITH A MAXIMUM OF 6 INCHES OF OVERLAP AT FRONT AND REAR, MAY X BRACE CHASSIS, MAY USE UNDER SLUNG REAR CHASSIS.
8. NO SQUARE TUBING FROM FRONT CLIP TO REAR OF CAR IT MUST RETAIN ORIGINAL OVER THE REAR END FRAME, NO SCABBED IN FRAME PIECES, ORIGINAL FRAME MUST BE A PART OR THE WORKING CHASSIS, NO CLIP CHASSIS CARS.NO SCABBED IN FRAME PARTS.
9. WHEEL BASE MINIMUM OF 101 INCH WHEEL BASE, THERE WILL BE A 1 INCH TOLERANCE ON THE MAKE MODEL AND YEAR CHASSIS YOU ARE USING.
10. BODY MAY BE STEEL OR ALUMINUM, MUST MATCH MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR OF CAR BEING USED.
11. NOSE PIECE MUST MATCH MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR CHASSIS YOU ARE USING, MONTE CARLO FOR MONTE CARLO, CAMARO FOR CAMARO, MAY USE IROC NOSE ON CAMARO, NO LATE MODEL OR DOWN FORCE NOSES.
12. MAY USE A 60 INCH WIDE BY 6 INCH HIGH SPOILER.
13. MAY USE SPOILER END PIECES 6 INCHES HIGH BY 12 INCHES LONG WITH (1) ONE CENTER SUPPORT 6 INCHES HIGH BY 12 INCHES LONG.
14. ROOF MUST MATCH MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR OF CAR BEING USED.
15. IF USING A FABRICATED ROOF IT MAY HAVE A 3 INCH RAKE FROM REAR TO FRONT.
16. MUST HAVE FULL ROLL CAGE CONSTRUCTED OF .095 ROLL TUBING.
17. ROLL CAGE MUST BE WELDED TO MAIN FRAME.
18. MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 4 DRIVERS DOOR WITH 3 DOWN BARS BETWEEN EACH HORIZONTAL BAR.
19. MAY USE DOOR BARS IN PASSENGER DOOR OR X BRACE.
20. MUST HAVE 3, 1/2 INCH BARS IN FRONT OF DRIVER.
21. MUST HAVE DRIVERS WINDOW NET.
22. MUST HAVE FIRE EXSTINGUISHER WITH IN REACH OF DRIVER WITH A GAUGE.
23. MUST HAVE A MASTER CUT OFF SWITCH WITHIN REACH OF DRIVER AND SAFETY PERSONEL.
24. ALUMINUM RACING SEAT MOUNTED TO ROLL CAGE IS MANDATORY.
25. 5 POINT RACING HARNESS IS MANDATORY.
26. FUEL CELL IS MANDATORY IT MUST BE IN A STEEL CAN WITH A MINIMUM OF 2, 2 INCH STEEL STRAPS, 8 INCH MINIMUM FROM BOTTOM OF CAN TO GROUND.
27. 3000 LBS MINIMUM WEIGHT AFTER RACE WITH DRIVER.
CHASSIS MUST REMAIN COMPLETELY OEM FACTORY STOCK FOR MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR BEING USED EXCEPT FOR THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS,
1. MAY RELOCATE UPPER CONTROL ARM MOUNTS.
2. MAY USE TUBULAR UPPER CONTROL ARMS, NO ADJUSTABLE TYPE, MUST BE CROSS SHAFT TYPE, CROSS SHAFT MAY BE STEEL OR ALUMINUM. STOCK TYPE BALL JOINTS ONLY, NO SCREW IN BALL JOINTS. IF USING STOCK UPPER CONTROL ARMS YOU MAY USE POLYURETHANE BUSHINGS. MUST BE WITHIN 1 INCH OF FACTORY STOCK LENGTH.
3. FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS MUST BE FOR MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR OF CHASSIS BEING USED, MAY USE POLYURETHANE BUSHINGS, NO OFFSET BUSHINGS, STOCK TYPE BALL JOINTS ONLY, NO SCREW IN BALL JOINTS. NO TUBULAR LOWERS.
4. FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARM MOUNTS ON FRAME MUST BE UNALTERED AND IN STOCK LOCATION.
5. MUST BE STOCK OEM SPINDLES FOR MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR OF CAR BEING USED.
6. STEERING BOX MUST BE FOR CAR BEING USED FORD FOR FORD, CHEVY FOR CHEVY, ETC.
7. MAY USE STEERING QUICKNER.
8. MAY RUN OUTBOARD SHOCKS ON FRONT, RACING SHOCKS ALLOWED, NON REBUILDABLE, NO SCHRADER VALVES, MUST BE STEEL, MAY USE HIEM JOINT ENDS.
9. MAY USE WEDGE BOLTS AND BUCKETS ON FRONT.
10. MAY USE UP TO 1.25 INCH DIAMETER SWAY BAR ON FRONT, MUST BE IN STOCK LOCATION ON FRAME, MAY USE POLYURETHANE BUSHINGS, MAY USE ADJUSTABLE END LINK.
11. MINIMUM RIDE HEIGHT 5 INCHES.
12. SHOCK EXTENSIONS ALLOWED.

REAR SUSPENSION.
1. MUST REMAIN OEM FACTORY STOCK FOR MAKE, MODEL AMD YEAR OF CAR BEING USED, EXCEPT FOR THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS.
2. MAY USE WEDGE BOLTS AND BUCKETS ON METRIC CAR.
3. MAY BE UNDERSLUNG.
3A. REAR FRAME RAILS MAY BE REPLACE FROM BEHIND REAR OF SHOCK MOUNT BACK WITH 2X3 BOX TUBING. LEAF SPRING CARS REAR SPRING MOUNT MUST BE IN FACTORY LOCATION.
1. MAY USE SHOCK EXTENSIONS ANY CORNER.
2. REAR TRAILING ARM MOUNTS MUST BE IN FACTORY STOCK LOCATION FOR MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR OF CAR BEING USED.
3. REAR TRAILING ARMS MUST BE FACTORY STOCK FOR MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR OF CAR BEING USED, YOU MAY BOX BOTTOM OF ARM TO REINFORCE, YOU MAY USE POLYURETHANE BUSHINGS, NO MONO BALLS, NO J BARS, NO SPRING BARS, NO TORQUE LINKS, NO ADJUSTABLE TRAILING ARMS, YOU MAY SLOT UPPER ARMS UP TO ¾ OF AN INCH TO OBTAIN PINION ANGLE.
4. YOU MAY RUN RACING SHOCKS, NO REBUILDABLE, NO SCHRADER VALVE, NO ADJUSTABLE, MUST BE STEEL, MAY USE HIEM END SHOCKS IN RELATIVE STOCK LOCATION.
5. SHOCK EXTENSIONS ALLOWED.

ENGINE
1. MUST BE FOR CHASSIS BRAND BEING USED.
2. .060 OVER BORE PLUS .010 FOR WEAR.
3. BLOCK MUST BE STOCK PRODUCTION, NO AFTER MARKET BLOCKS, NO MARINE BLOCKS.
4. CRANKSHAFT, 48 LBS MINIMUM WEIGHT, NO TOLERANCE, NO KNIFE EDGE, MAY BE CAST OR FORGED, CHEVY 3.48 STROKE.
5. PISTONS ANY 2 OR 4 EYEBROW, MAY BE SHORT SKIRT, MAY USE FLOATED PINS, MUST BE STOCK PIN HEIGHT, PISTON CANNOT PROTRUDE ABOVE DECK SURFACE.
6. RODS, I-BEAM ONLY MUST BE STEEL, CHEVY 5.7 NO 6 INCH RODS, NO H-BEAMS, AFTERMARKET ROD BOLTS OK.
7. CAMSHAFT, MAY USE FLAT TAPPET, NO ROLLER CAMS.

TRANSMISSION

2. AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION MUST HAVE FULL SIZE TORQUE CONVERTER.
3. NO 2 SPEED RACING TRANSMISSIONS, NO BERT, NO BRINN, NO FALCON.
4. BLOW PROOF STEEL BELL HOUSING MANDATORY.
5. FLY WHEEL, CLUTCH AND PRESSURE PLATE 35 LBS MINIMUM WEIGHT THIS WILL INCLUDE FLYWHEEL BOLTS AND COVER BOLTS, NO TOLERANCE. MAY USE SOLID HUB DISC, NO LIGHT WEIGHT PRESSURE PLATES.
6. MUST HAVE DRIVSHAFT SAFETY LOOP.

REAREND
