mufflers will be mandatory starting june 2nd for the following classes: limited sprints, street stocks, limited modifieds, modifieds, sportsman, & late models. schoenfeld mufflers 112535 & 112530 (11" muffler) are what we want used. these mufflers are 34.95. see browning in jax for better pricing. Nfs will also have them available. any other muffler must be approved by phil only.
modifieds no inserts. must be mufflers, can use turn down or in.
tires. no cutting, grooving, siping or grinding of tread surface in ALL classes except late models. modifieds have til 7-14 to wear out tires. on 7-14 we will follow these rules. no soaking, chemical cleaning (simple green purple stuff), softening etc. allowed. track will police this. we have contracted lab to check tire samples.
late models I would like to have your input on this. we can save you money and alot of prep time. we would have to goto 1 brand of tire: hoosier 21 & 55. no cutting, grooving, siping or tread surface. set a punch rule before and after race. have a 3 point tolerance after race. track to send samples to lab for testing, track will cover lab cost.
